The import programme utilises the full spectrum of the Viterra business. Protein meals are sourced direct from our crush plants around the world and, by utilising our own global logistics network, provide customers with timely, consistent and efficient supply of product. We buy soybeans direct from growers and operate Argentina’s largest crush plant. Through our presence in Argentina, we are one of the largest suppliers of soybean meal to customers here in the UK & Europe as well as other key destinations around the world. Through our global network of assets and partners we are also a significant supplier of both sunflower and rapeseed meals within the UK.

Soya hulls

In keeping with our sustainability protocols and ideals we process the hulls from the soya bean crush into pellets which is a good source of fibre and energy within a balanced feed ration. Due to its low specific gravity, transportation of raw hulls is generally uneconomical. Pelletising increases the specific gravity of hulls fivefold now making it a viable option to be shipped to our end users around the world. Speak to our friendly feeds team today - +44 (0)1844 261261.

Corn

We supply both genetically modified (GMO) and non-GMO corn for starch, ethanol and feed products. We have traceability protocols in Europe and CIS that guarantee access to certified sustainable corn and a consistent and safe product. We are expanding our logistics network in the growing area of South America to meet rising world demand.

Dried distillers grains

Dried distillers grains (DDGs) are a major coproduct from the production of ethanol from grain. DDGs are used within the UK as a protein-rich animal feed. Thanks to our global network we are able to import DDGs from our global partners and assets keeping local prices competitive for our customers. Enquire about a delivery with our friendly feeds department - +44 (0) 1844 261261.

Sugar beet pulp pellets

The fibre in beet pulp is highly digestible making it a good non-starch energy source for cattle and horses. It is a popular feed used by dairy farmers as a structural carbohydrate. Through our processing facilities in Europe we give our customers access to the European market which keeps local prices competitive and continuity of product in lean production years.
